Garnier B.B Cream #2.

I woke up this morning quite excited to try out the B.B cream I posted about yesterday!... was I happy with the turn out? Even I don't know!  The idea of the B.B creams I think are great. The Garnier B.B Cream? Well...  The texture of the cream was great and I loved the coverage it gave. I have a sort of 'glow' on my skin from it and it's very nice for that! My problem is, I received the B.B Cream in the shade 'Light', originally I thought " Oh great!" as that is my shade!. When I tested a bit on my hand the cream appeared a nice light colour, but the second I put it on my face, I looked like I had put fake tan on myself. The light is very tanned, and I am not a fan of having the appearance of tan on my face. I'm not aware that they do an 'extra light' shade, therefore I can't say i'll be buying the product. But if you are someone who likes a glowing tan look and doesn't like wearing a lot of foundation, then i'd 100% recommend the product to you! But for me, who likes to be slightly pale, it isn't something i'll use again... unless they bring out a paler colour! But what I do think is great about the product, is it's meant to be a 'skin perfector' and even tones, I totally agree it did this, and if you look at the photo's below, my skin with no make-up on has some red blemishes, but this product did totally get rid of them for me!   I will be trying out some other B.B creams though as it did give me a nice coverage on my face!   There is some photo's below of the product! Enjoy! ( On the photo of after I had the cream on, you can barely tell the difference, But trust me, It was too dark for my liking! )

 - This is after I had put the B.B cream on. The photo above is of my natural skin colour. In person this cream in the shade 'Light' was too dark for me. I tried brightening it off with some powder but that didn't work. If I enjoyed having a tan on my face, then I would of loved the Garnier B.B Cream.

Garnier B.B Cream!

So today I received something nice in the post. I got a few testers of the new Garnier B.B cream. I have heard for ages about B.B creams, and how good they were suppose to be if you are someone like me who doesn't coat my foundation on. I have never tried one myself so I am happy to of received the Garnier one. I know of various brands who do B.B creams, and they seem to be a growing trend in highstreet make-up brands such as Maybelline.  I Am looking forward to trying this cream out, mainly because with it being Garnier I know its not just make-up, it includes skincare values as well! I will have some photo's up tomorrow of the product and how it looks and my opinion! Thankfully I received the B.B colour in the shade 'Light'!  If anyone has tried the Garnier B.B cream and wants to leave a comment of what they thought of it, feel free! I'd like to know what other people thought too! B.B creams good or bad??

New Necklaces!

The other day I came across a website which did really nice unique jewellery. I instantly got hooked on 2 particular necklaces, and HAD to buy them!  The website is called Chelsea Doll, and if you're looking for that great piece of jewellery to liven up a plain top and grab some attention then they're great!  The pictures below are the 2 necklaces I ordered. The price for the cross necklace was £12.00 and the black skull and swords necklace was £13.00.  I absolutely loveee them! Both my necklaces are from the section 'quirky necklaces'. And to get even better, its free worldwide delivery!!  My order arrived very quickly which was great as I really was wanted the black skull necklace to pair with an outfit for a night! Very glad I found the website!

Quick & Simple Dark Night Look!

I have came up with the perfect look and it is so simple to do for a night out, meal, party or even a day to day look if you want it to be!   I will tell you the products I have used throughout, and If you have any questions at all, then leave a comment below! Hope you like it!

First begin with priming your eyelid ready for eye shadows. I use Benefits Stay Don't Stray Primer.

Line the top eyelid with a black gel eyeliner/liquid eyeliner. Make the outer corner line quite thick, and stop in the middle with a thin line. I have used Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Liner in Thunder Storm.

Use a blue shimmery cream eye shadow, and apply it on the outer corner of the eye. I have used Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow in Ocean Storm.

Next take a dark grey eye shadow. I have chose to use Bourjois Paris Eye shadow in the shade 14 Gris Delicat.

The beauty of this product is you can use it as it comes, or make your brush wet and use the eye shadow which will give a more dark drastic look. I always wet the brush as I find its a nicer colour as you can see in the picture below.

The top colour is very hard to see, this is the eye shadow as it comes in the pot. Below that is the eye shadow when used with a wet brush. It gives a beautiful creamy dark grey colour. For this look I have use the Wet Brush technique.

Take a wet blending brush and the eye shadow and blend in to a pointed flick on the outer eye. You can create this as high up or low as wanted, depending on face shape of course.

Then take a smaller angled brush and line the bottom lash line with the same wet eye shadow colour. Make sure it joins with the top point evenly.

Add a black mascara to top and bottom lashes. I used MAC Studio Fix BoldBlack Lash.

Add a black kohl eyeliner to the bottom and top water line. I have used Rimmel London Soft Kohl Eyeliner Pencil in 061 JET BLACK.

And that is the look complete. If you want something a bit darker, instead of just using eyeshadow on the outer corner of the eye, apply it to the whole lid, but for my outfit this was all I wanted. Hope you like the look and if you have any questions, just leave a comment below.

Customise using studs!

As I posted earlier in the week I was going to do a post on customising your shoes with some studs.  I have been to numerous shoe shops and picked up a pair and thought " these would look better with some studs ". Finally I got the motivation to just buy some and customise myself! Hope this guide helps on how to customise your shoes with stud detail! Leave a comment if you would like to know anything!

-These are my plain black leather slipper style shoes I have chose to customise.  They were £20 from Dorothy Perkins.

-These are the studs I have bought to customise my shoes with. They are Small Spike Studs. They are screw in ones. I bought screw in ones so on the inside they didn't hurt my feet when wearing the shoes as the inner screw is smoothed out. I got a pack of 25 from Attitude Clothing. They cost £7.99 and are my favorite studs I have ever purchased!
Here's the link - http://www.attitudeclothing.co.uk/product_18302-62-1014_25-x-Small-Spike-Studs.htm

-Pick the place you want to apply a stud, and pierce it with a sewing needle.

-Put the sewing needle fully through, then pull it back out again.

-Use a pair of scissors and where you have made the tiny hole, apply the scissors and 'push and twist' until you simply stretch the hole.

- Stretch it enough for the screw of the stud to push through.

- Push the base of the stud through. This is the side with the screw. Push it through the bottom so the screw side is coming out the top like the photo below.

- Screw on the top of the stud as tightly as possible and that's your first stud done!

 - Repeat the same process again, and apply the studs as close/far together.  I have chose to apply them around the front outside of the shoe.

 - And here is my finished product! It was so simple to create these and the shoes look 100x better than original. And I love the fact they're now one of a kind. This was all I want on my shoes. I used 22 out of the 25 studs given, which means I have spare in case anything happens to the already applied ones. I love them so much and i'm glad I chose to customise them!  It took me roughly 1 hour to complete the pair of shoes( which i'm impressed with as I thought it would take longer ).

- If you have any questions or need any advice on doing the studs on shoes or any clothing/accessories, then just leave a comment below and i'll reply as quick as possible! :)

T-shirt!

Very quick post just showing you all a t-shirt i've recently bought! I admit, not everybody's taste. But I really like the design. Its a tattoo style print on a plain white t-shirt. It has a fortune teller lady on the front, and has beautiful colours used on the print.  I bought this from www.attitudeclothing.co.uk . It cost me £23.99. I wear it with some black skinny jeans and some black little plims or my purple lilac colour Vans. The brand is Sacred Stitches. I recently found this brand, and instantly fell in love with the t-shirts!

Nails #2

As requested I have done 2 more very simple but gorgeous nail designs. I've tried to make them as basic as possible but still look great with any outfit!

Base Coat- Barry M Nail Paint in the shade Berry

 Comes out a lavender/lilac colour

Models Own Nail Art Pen in Black
Simple design 1:  Crosses.  I have only done the design on 3 of my fingers. A nice simple look to add a edgy twist to an outfit.

Simple Design 2:  Pin stripes! Add some simple class to an outfit with a pin stripe design. Choose to     do all the nails or simply just one like I have! Looks great either way.

SorrySorrySorry!!

So this week I've been waiting upon an order I made, which was of a pack of studs. I bought some plain black leather slipper style shoes last week, and I have been wanting to customise them with some small cone studs. The order should be here by saturday, which means that's when my next post will be up. I'd planned to do my next post on how i've customised my shoes, but obviously with my order not being here till the weekend, it hasn't been possible. So i'm sorry I've not had a post up this week! But should have one by this weekend!
